Usama Young spent 20 years inside the NFL and held every seat that matters to how an organization treats its people. He was a player and a team captain on three teams, a Super Bowl champion, and a two-time Walter Payton Man of the Year. He spent seven seasons as a replay official, seeing the game from the enforcement side. He spent eight years at the League Office, working alongside the player engagement team across all 32 clubs. He finished his NFL career as a club vice president, rebuilding and leading a department in one season.

Along the way he founded Believe in U, a youth nonprofit in Charlotte that has reached 3,000 students and raised $250,000, and earned a master's degree in strategic management from the Kelley School of Business, athlete development certification from The Wharton School, and leadership and executive coaching certifications from the Center for Creative Leadership and XBInsight.

Usama Young Advisory exists because most organizations know what they want their people to feel and have no idea how to build it. He has built it, at the league level and inside a building, and he brings that to teams, universities and companies that compete on talent.
